01 What Is a Recessed Mounted LED Aluminum Profile?

The T-Shaped Profile for Flush Installations

KayTai is a professional recessed-mounted LED aluminum profile manufacturer in China. The recessed LED aluminum profile, also known as the T-shaped LED aluminum profile, is recessed inside the surface. We usually use these channels on wood shelves or cabinets.

To install the recessed LED aluminum channel, you must open the corresponding slot according to the size of the channel.

02 What Finishes Are Available for the LED Channel?

Most of the aluminum LED channels are anodized. Anodizing is an electrochemical process that creates an anodizing layer which makes the channel corrosion resistant, durable, and decorative. Other finishes include powder coating, paint, and gloss dipping, all used for protection and decorative purposes.

Three Standard Anodized Finishes

Three standard anodized finishes in LED aluminum profiles are silver anodized, white anodized, and black anodized. Pick the finish that matches your interior style — or ask us about powder coating and custom colors for your project.

03 What Parts Does an LED Aluminum Profile Contain?

The LED aluminum profile system is not only composed of aluminum — it includes the following parts:

HEAT SINK

Aluminum Extrusion

An essential part of the system. Made of 6063-T5 aluminum, it helps the LED strip dissipate heat quickly.

DIFFUSER

PC or PMMA

Covers the LED strip to protect it and diffuse the light evenly for a smooth finish.

END CAPS

Plastic or Aluminum

With-holes for LED strip wires to pass through, or without-holes for a clean closed end.

SUSPENSION CABLE

Stainless Steel

Used when installing LED aluminum profiles, especially for hanging installations.

MOUNTING CLIPS

Stainless or Plastic

Used to mount surface or angle mount aluminum channels securely.

OTHER ACCESSORIES

Brackets & Connectors

Rotating brackets, suspension brackets, and connectors complete the system.

Every part matters for a clean, lasting installation. Read our aluminum profile buying guide or browse more in our LED aluminiumsprofiler range.
